Dr Munz was an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for five years prior to entering into private practice.
Dr Munz has been involved as an investigator in numerous research projects and clinical trials. He has also published journal articles on various topics within the field of neurosurgery and has held lectures on a wide variety of topics in neurosurgery – both nationally and internationally.
Dr Munz wanted to be a physician ever since he was ten years old. “I have always been fascinated with the brain and spine. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to get to the root of a complex problem and see both the patients and their families lives improve” said Dr Munz.
Dr Munz is board certified in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). The broad aim of the ABNS is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards, and advance the science of neurological surgery, thereby serving the cause of public health.
Dr Munz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). The ACS is dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and to safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment.
