Dr Bruckerhoff earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2006. She then went on to complete her internship and residency at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth in 2007 and 2009, respectively. 

After completing her medical training, Dr Bruckerhoff spent nearly eight years managing the care of patients in a variety of settings, including acute care hospital, long-term acute care hospital, acute rehabilitation, nursing home, hospice, independent living, assisted living and home care.
