Thereafter, she completed her residency in general surgery at New York University Medical Center in 2012, followed by her fellowship in endocrine & metabolic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in 2013.
That same year, she became board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
