(YorkPedia Editorial):- New York City, Apr 21, 2020 (Issuewire.com) – EVAC+CHAIR® North America the world’s Number 1 supplier and manufacturer of evacuation chairs has been evacuating adults now for over four decades. However, have you ever wondered how a hospital could quickly evacuate babies from its maternity ward? This issue has been one that has troubled EVAC+CHAIR® over the last 40 years and now with the launch of the EVAC+BABY there is a solution.
Richard Perl, President of EVAC+CHAIR® added ‘We are excited to launch the new EVAC+BABY from EVAC+CHAIR®. With guidance from NFPA 101 and other United States legislation it is now everyone’s responsibility to evacuate mobility impaired persons which include babies. Babies have the same rights, are vulnerable and we must ensure we have the means of egress to evacuate all persons. I am excited to say that the EVAC+CHAIR® can now not only evacuate an adult of up to 500lbs, but also 4 babies by adding the EVAC+BABY to your existing EVAC+CHAIR® model.’
The EVAC+BABY fits securely onto your EVAC+CHAIR® evacuation chair to enable a single operator to evacuate up to four babies at once with minimal ease. Attached over the EVAC+CHAIR® handle and strapped to the front bar the EVAC+BABY can then be transported smoothly downstairs.
The EVAC+BABY features four individual pockets with detachable head supports to house each infant, with safety straps for added security. EVAC+CHAIRS® are designed to accommodate disabled or mobility-impaired people, allowing them to descend a staircase in an emergency situation without the need of great physical strength or lifting.
