(YorkPedia Editorial):- Charlotte, May 31, 2020 (Issuewire.com) – We have had it with the killing of unarmed black people in the hands of rogue white law enforcement and white murderers. We have tried boycotts, marches, and riots with little to no success. Violence is not the solution. Boycotting is ineffective until we have our own black products or services to replace the gap. marches are now literally a walk to nowhere.
Is suing the government viable? To be honest, we don’t know. But a real lawsuit will further expose the entrenched racism in the laws of this country. A legitimate lawsuit will force the United State government to acknowledge past wrongdoing or further expose how far they will go to keep black people under their boots.
This lawsuit will focus on current events, supported by racist laws, preventing black people from the pursuit of happiness which is defined as a fundamental right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence to freely pursue joy and live life in a way that makes you happy, as long as you don’t do anything illegal or violate the rights of others.
It is clear that the United States has and continues to fail black citizens which is evident in the endless killing of unarmed black people.
The goal of this petition is to get the attention of brave black lawyers who are willing to challenge the status quo and take on a government that is a willing participant in our oppression.
We, black people, demand the right to pursue happiness, as stipulated in the Declaration of Independence, without fear of being gunned down in the streets by white supremacist cops and racist white vigilantes.
