Alongside his clinical role, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Wright State University.
Educated in Spain, Dr. Rubio graduated with his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid in 1976. He then relocated to the United States, performing his residency in internal medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, and his fellowship in pulmonary disease at the University of Louisville Hospital.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). In his professional experience, Dr. Rubio started Pulmonary & Medicine of Dayton, Inc. in 1994. Achieving fellowship status, he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).
