Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Deogun graduated with his medical degree from Government Medical College, Patiala in India. After relocating to the United States, he went on to perform his internship at Nassau University Medical Center. This was followed by residencies in anesthesiology at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Priding himself on providing the best medical attention, he is board-certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
