Makarem – Associates Represents the Plaintiff in Legal Malpractice and Sexual Harassment Case

The lawsuit alleges sexual harassment, sexual assault, legal malpractice, and breach of fiduciary duty against the defendant, Ronald Nolan, an attorney and principal of the Law Offices of Ronald J. Nolan, located in Valencia, California.

The sexual harassment lawsuit alleges that the plaintiff,  residing in Chino, California, retained Defendant Nolan and his law firm in 2017 to represent her in connection with legal claims against her former employer, but that while representing her, Mr. Nolan allegedly sexually assaulted and harassed her.

The woman’s lawsuit also alleges that Defendant Nolan failed to advise her that she had potential employment and disability discrimination claims against her former employer. As a result of the alleged sexual assault and legal malpractice, the plaintiff, in this case, is seeking compensation for emotional distress, lost income, and exemplary damages as a consequence of Defendant Nolan’s alleged illegal, discriminatory, and negligent conduct.

Defendant Nolan, for his part, denies all allegations of sexual harassment and assault and legal malpractice. Defendant Nolan also denies that his former client suffered any damages for his alleged sexual assault and harassment and legal malpractice.
