(YorkPedia Editorial):- Charles Town, West Virginia Apr 21, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – There is so much gratitude surrounding the imaginative minds of the 2022 Committee on the Future when deliberating on why, who, what, when, and where will the synergy take place that jettisons the activation of the 2022 National Climate Essay Student Competition. Dr. Pamela Ellis, executive director for Books Motivate Foundation observes, “This multiple event project demonstrates that a climate momentum is evident in the groundswell of concern by American youth and their aspirations for environmental conservation and an expectation to a magnanimous quality of life.”
The prescient idea of A Committee on the Future to stem the tide of climate change was documented in a Books Motivate Foundation book, Climate Controversy 2013 co-authored with George M. Woodwell. It is regarded as a reality by the words of Albert Einstein that “Problems cannot be solved with the same mindset that created them.” Earth Day is an outreach to all people everywhere. Join the 2022 Committee of the Future watch party on April 22, 2022, from 12 Noon until 4:00 pm EDT here. Selected participants will be able to share inspiring, personal climate stories, and short environmental videos during the event.
American high school students are encouraged to submit written climate essays by the program deadline, Saturday, May 28, 2022, by email to: [email protected]. The Paris Climate Agreement and the Project Drawdown initiative remain global standards with actions that American students must understand and identify solutions to ensure both environmental sustainability and their economic future. Nonprofit and corporate sponsors want to help high school students in climate science and community service learning. Books Motivate Foundation’s diverse team of teachers, scientists, and civic leaders provides a needed framework for all sectors to be involved in an annual essay literary campaign and climate awards program throughout the next decade.
The 2022 National Climate Student Essayist grand prize award winner will receive $5,000 through sponsorships and donations for the scheduled Saturday, August 20, 2022 Reception of Champions Climate Awards event. Additional climate champions slated to be recognized and receive awards include teachers, community leaders, and volunteers.
