Conducting research in breast cancer and published in the field, Dr. Fernando is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
So that his patients do not need to travel far to receive the best quality of care, Dr. Fernando brings his world-class training and expertise directly to the Pittsburgh community.
