A Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Successful in his field, Dr. Gayid was awarded “The Chief Medical Resident’s Professionalism Award” for 2002-2003 by Wayne State University. He was also named a Patient’s Choice Award Winner in 2012 and 2014.
In his spare time, he enjoys walking and traveling and serves on the Social Services committee at his church. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
