Millie Bobby Brown Gets Married to Jake Bongiovi, Son of Bon Jovi
Rumors have been already swirling around regarding the marriage of Millie Bobby Brown from ‘Stranger Things’. The rumor is confirmed by veteran rockstar Jon Bon Jovi through an interview and the fans are going crazy over the marriage of this young couple.
During an appearance on The One Show by BBC, Bon Jovi verified the fact that his son has gotten married. Bon Jovi is currently 62 and he shared, “It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous.” There is no doubt that the bride is referred to ‘Damsel’ actress Millie Bobby Brown who married Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi, regarding his son, he said, “Jake is as happy as can be.” he further added, “They’re absolutely fantastic.”
Last year, the couple’s engagement broke and the 20-year-old actor said that she wanted to keep her wedding ceremony as private as possible. But earlier she said that her wedding plan included “drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once.” She further added, “And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.” The actress continued, “I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.”
Previously on April 22, 2023; Millie shared a post on Instagram where she announced her engagement with professional model and Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi. There was also a photo added, where they can be seen happy in while Brown subtly flexes her diamond wedding ring. She added a caption that reads, I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all “. Clearly, they have dating for a few years and finally decided to get married.
The young could have a pretty exciting and healthy relationship so far. Millie was found saying to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that Jake had proposed to her underwater while they were scuba diving on a vacation tour. It was pretty exciting under many meters in the water when Brown received a shell with a wedding ring in it. They were unable to speak underwater and interacted in some bubble language while Jake put the ring on her finger.
Millie said, “He puts the ring on my hand, and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger,” and further added, “It plummets so fast; it was like a cinematic movie.” Jake didn’t hesitate and dived into the water and got back the ring again. When re-surfaced, Jake formally asked Millie whether she would like to marry him.
Millie’s vo-star from ‘Stranger Things’, Matthew Modine has always been a father figure to her, and her on-screen papa has also written custom vows for the young married couple. They asked him to officiate their wedding.
