Finally, Dr. Mancera pursued a highly competitive two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he gained expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of eyelid and tear duct disorders, skin cancer reconstruction, orbital tumors, facial/orbital trauma, and cosmetic surgery of the face and neck, as well as less invasive aesthetic rejuvenation techniques.

As a testament to his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
