(YorkPedia Editorial):- Jacksonville, Florida Jan 30, 2023 (Issuewire.com) – Acclaimed percussionist and band leader, Hamid Cooper celebrates the release of his new album titled Calabasas Sunset Festival, recorded live at the annual Calabasas Summer Sunset Festival (2017).  The album was released across multiple platforms including iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon to name a few.

One of Cooper’s favorite genres, Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz, is richly embedded in this collection.  It features a unique blend of tracks composed of sounds from a wide range of instruments, including saxophones, congas, trumpets, vibraphones, keyboards, flutes, and timbales. The unique blend of instruments produces the rhythmic styles and sounds characteristic of popular Latin Jazz tunes.  “I really looked forward to creating this compilation of great songs, performed live, with some of the greats in Latin Jazz,” he said.
