One of Cooper’s favorite genres, Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz, is richly embedded in this collection. A Persian-born musician, Cooper currently resides in Northeast, FL. He is a world traveler with impressive compilations of Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz music with tunes such as a Cooper-arranged cover of Sonny Rollins’ jazz classic “St. Thomas,” Jorge Ben Jor’s familiar “Mas Que Nada,” “Black Orpheus” and originals like “Amol,” “The Humble Man,” “Do Dat,” and “The Blessed Man,” add to an extensive repertoire.
