Megan Quillen Creates New Beauty Brand Aimed At Helping Impoverished Youth

Megan Quillen, 24, has recently announced that she is creating her own cosmetics line. In addition to graduating from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University, she has long held an entrepreneurial spirit. In addition, she has worked for Sephora and managed the advertising for many other high-profile and luxury beauty brands. Matching her knowledge with her passion and experience in the industry, she decided to launch her company “Quillen Beauty”. She is still in the process of developing the brand and working hard to get the product formulations and packaging ready for launch. She plans to initially release a cosmetics line and eventually expand into skincare as well. Her first product launch will feature a colorful eyeshadow palette she named “Blessed”, which was inspired by her gratitude for being given the opportunity to start her business. Ultimately, she aims to get her brand into Sephora and Ulta Beauty. In fact, she is in the process of applying for Sephora’s Accelerate Program, which the company created for innovative female founders in the beauty industry. It offers the chance to receive advanced training and education, and eventually the opportunity to potentially launch in Sephora stores.

Additionally, Megan is determined to incorporate giving back into her brand’s mission. She is currently planning on giving 10% of company profits to organizations that help impoverished children in third world countries. Megan was inspired after volunteering in Haiti at a Missionaries of Charity orphanage, founded by Mother Teresa. After that experience, Megan decided that she wanted to devote her life to helping orphan children around the world. For her, “Quillen Beauty” is the perfect way to combine her passion for beauty and business with her philanthropic efforts. Hopefully, Megan Quillen will find success with her new launch of “Quillen Beauty”, and be able to inspire others with her message of giving.
