(YorkPedia Editorial):- Teaneck, New Jersey Dec 20, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – Heart Circle Zen (HCZ), a community of lay Zen Buddhist practitioners, announces its new location at the Ethical Culture Society (687 Larch Ave., Teaneck, NJ 07666). HCZ offers programs for beginning and experienced meditators to help them reduce reactivity and navigate the difficulties of today’s stressful world. Open and accessible to all, these programs include beginning meditation instruction and workshops on mindfulness, Buddhist teachings, and ethics.
With global strife, political division and economic uncertainty, the climate crisis, and the pandemic, cultivating inner calm and tapping into inner wisdom is more critical than ever. The secular practice of Zen Buddhism helps practitioners to develop resilience, equanimity, and joy. Regular meditation practice may also contribute to practitioners’ physical and mental health and overall well-being.
