She then went on to complete her internship: 6 months in internal medicine and 6 months in Pediatrics and was accepted to a pediatric neurology residency program at Boston City hospital. However, Dr. Muss during the pediatric component of her internship. spent all her spare time in the adult ER, In May, at the end of her the pediatrics portion of her internship, Dr. Muss realized that research was not for having been in practice for over three decades, Dr. Muss holds the teaching appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Passionate about her profession, Dr. Muss is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

In addition to having received the title of Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), she is a member of the New York Cardiological Society, the American College of Physicians, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the New York County Medical Society.
