steam revealed the charts of the best games of 2019 on their official twitter handle and it is pretty clear from the list that Destiny 2 And Grand Theft Auto V Are Part Of The 12 Most Played Steam Games Of 2019.
Steam has come up with a list of best games of the previous year and it is based on the popularity and the number of these games had been played on the platform.
There are four categories made to make the list: with 100,000, 50,000, 25,000, and 15,000 simultaneous players. 12 high-end games were simultaneously played by at least 100,000 players at the same time. Though Steam has selected 12 games, purely focusing on players’ consistent engagement with the games. It has not considered sudden spikes in players’ engagement in certain games as a metric for this list. Some games have been played by 100,000 players but they did not hold up the sustainability as players were just logging on for a specific in-game event or reward.
Here is the list of 12 most played games on steam that probably will not surprise the deliberate steam gamers of 2019. They are:
Destiny 2 –it was released in 2019 and it is a free game thus no wonder it takes the first place in the list that is loved by the veteran gamers.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – Released 2019, Price: $38.99
Grand Theft Auto V – Released 2015, Price: $14.99 and it successfully created a different fanity for this game.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege – Released 2015, Price: $7.99
Path of Exile – Released in 2013, since then it has been one of the most played games. It is a free game.
