LA Galaxyis finding it hard to come out of their rough patch, losing against Colorado Rapids by 0-1

According to Pro Sports news, there is certainly something wrong with LA Galaxy, as despite being one of the biggest favorites for winning the MLS Cup, they are finding it pretty difficult. To make things worse, Galaxy couldn’t even win against the worst team of the league, Colorado Rapids by 0-1.

It was, even more, defaming for the team as it happened at their home. This was the team’s fourth consecutive defeat at the league, making them the new fourth in the West. Another bad thing is that Galaxy couldn’t even score in the previous two games.

The attacking side of the hosts was without ZlatanIbrahimovic, who is serving first of his two-game ban.

The game was pretty exciting, and both the teams split one half each when talking about the domination on the pitch. For the first 45 minutes, Galaxy was playing well, when hosts forced Tim Howard to save a couple of very tough shots. In the 23rd minute of the game, Keegan Rosenbarry cleared the ball off the goal line, preventing LA from taking the lead.

But, from the very beginning of the second half, the situation of the pitch started to change rapidly, when Colorado was seen playing the best sequence of the season. The guests were all over the field of StubHub Center.

The third person on the MLS goal-scoring list, Kei Kamara also missed three great chances of scoring and improving his position. The Sierra Leone attacker was always in some dangerous situation, but he just couldn’t execute.

Fortunately for Rapids, after his third missed opportunity within the goalie of Galaxy, Bingham denied a close chance, and substitute Andre Shinyashiki took the advantage, scoring a game-winner.

At first, Shinyashiki had assisted Kamara who needed to execute it, but the ball came back to him in the heart of the box. Then the Brazilian forward took the chance and shocked the hosts.

For the Rapids, this win was very much important, as they snapped the historic bad start and won their first game of the season. Tim Howard posted his first shutout in this campaign.

Colorado will be playing in the home against Columbus Crew on May 25th

LA Galaxy will travel to Orlando to compete against the Lions one day earlier. Ibrahimovic has to skip that one as well, thus everything seems tough for them right now.
