The Nordic RTS of Shiro Games from an independent studio, Northgard, happens to get a very sizable patch so that some balance issues can be worked upon. The game has got a few aspects where there are no impacts as multiple different clans are there for the patch target, along with several buildings and there are various paths to winning. So what is in store for us? There are innumerable general changes that are made. The Alter of Kings is no longer build by the Clank of the Snake and a Tower can no longer be repaired by the villagers on a tile that has been under attack. Costs had been reduced for all that includes Brewery, Carved Stone and The Altar of Kings. Also, a lighthouse can be built, that will prevent it from being attacked during an event for Kraken.
There are only four changes that were made while moving to the units.
The menders and healers got their speed of healing increased by a sharp 10%.
To forge the relics short amount of time is taken by the smiths.
5% more damage being done by the shield bearers but has got defense which is less than 5%.
A complete cosmetic redesign is done by the Wyverns but the stats are almost the same otherwise.
A few difficulties have been faced while making the changes as well, but it can be safely said that the game has been made in such a way to make it even harder in its entirety. Improvements are seen by the AI so that the resource management received by them is better along with better aggression and defense. There has been a 10% increase in world hostility in its entirety and woods are now consumed in winter purely depending on difficult times. The events of Draugr invasion will be scaled on parameters of difficulty also as well as events of Earthquake.
Four of the relics have been changed as well. Mjollnir has damaged military units to halves while the amount of Krowns that Bragaful has got depends on your improved Commercial influence. The deceleration speed of Scabbard of Gram has been reduced by 5% and it was allowed by Jormunr so that zones are colonized with Lore at an interval of 4 months instead of the other six previously.
The last thing to mention as far as the general techs are concerned is the general techs. Loremaster production will increase by 20% and it is done by Erudition with the first of the Carved Stone is very much free. 20% of the replenishment of the market stock is provided by Negotiate and Clan for the Boar has got the lore of Osmosis which is their all-new Stolen Lore.
